Rules and Regulations
In order to assure the safety and enjoyment of the children at Camp
Farnam, we ask that all parents review the following Rules and Regulations
with their children:
- Lightweight
clothing suitable for outdoor activities must be worn at all
times. This means NO sandals or flip-flops. You might also
want to pack pants and long sleeves for when your child goes hiking.
- Bathing
suits and towels are required for swimming. Children will not be
allowed to leave wet suits on under clothes due to health and personal
hygiene concerns. It's helpful to mark clothing with the child's
name so that items may be returned if left behind. It is
necessary that your child has a clean towel and bathing suit every day
- NO EXCEPTIONS!
- Children
meeting the bus at Farnam cannot be dropped off before 8:30am and must
be picked up by 5:00pm. Farnam staff cannot be responsible for
any child before or after these hours. Penalty fees will be
levied against parents who are consistently late in dropping off or
picking up their children. Those children being picked up at a
"pick up point" will be notified of time prior to
camp. Please be on time or the bus will leave you!
- All
staff is trained to assist children in developing their
conflict-resolution skills. However, if a child does not change or
improve his or her behavior there will be consequences. Any violent or
disruptive behavior or destruction of property will result in
immediate dismissal. There will be no refunds if a child is dismissed
from camp.
- Medical
and emergency forms must be returned to Farnam at least one week
before a child's session begins.
- Fees
must also be paid one week before a child's session begins.
- Please
DO NOT send video games, CD players or other valuables to camp.
The Farnam Neighborhood House is not responsible for lost or stolen
items!
Thank you for your cooperation
in making this a wonderful camp season for all!
