Alumni Association Committee

The charter of the Alumni Association Committee is to in collaboratively with the Yale School of Management Out Reach Team, check the feasibility of establishing an Alumni Assimilation.  It is thought an alumni association would benefit both the Farnam Neighborhood House and its “alumnus” .The goal of this Association will be to 1. Provide additional funds to Farnam Neighborhood House; 2. provide the opportunity for Farnam activity participants, staff, board, and parents to belong to a favorable group and have the opportunity to volunteer; 3. to provide a mentoring program; and 4. to assist in opportunities for people to reminisce.

The Alumni Association Committee consists of the following members (* indicates committee Chair):

Alumni Association Committee meeting will be scheduled as required in our collaboration with the Yale School of Management Outreach Team.

January 2007 – May 2007 goals include:

1. Research best practices for similar organizations in terms of developing and sustaining alumni Association;

2. Determine the added value of an alumni association to both the Farnam Neighborhood House and its current alums through an assessment of the current segments of past participation;

3. Determine possible projections of association, and analyze the potential growth path of the alumni Association;

4. Create a strategic and actionable plan for developing alumni association.
